Monty's Shop  -  471 Post Creek Rd., Beaver Dams, NY

From Elmira on Rt. 17 West:
  • Take exit 51A (NOT 51B) and turn right at the top of the ramp. (shopping mall will be on your right)
  • Go 1.4 miles to "T" intersection, turn left.
  • Go 0.2 mile to "T" intersection, turn right.
  • Go 1.9 miles to stop sign (church on the right), turn left.
  • Go 1.1 miles, turn left on Sawdey Road (road sign difficult to see).
  • Go 2.4 miles, turn left on Post Creek Rd.
  • Go 0.3 miles, turn right at the small glider sign and go to the shop which is 300ft off of the road.
From Corning on Rt. 17 East:
  • Exit Highway 17/86 at exit 46.
  • Turn north on Rt.. 414 towards Watkins Glen
  • At 6.7 miles from exit you will pass a Citgo gas station/store on the

    • right. Go beyond the Gas station .8 miles
  • Turn right on Post Creek road  ( total mileage from the highway 7.5

    • miles)
  • Head up STEEP HILL 2.2 miles to M&H driveway on the left (small glider sign at road)

Heinz's Shop  -  391 Harris Hill Rd., Elmira, NY

From Elmira on Rt. 17 West:
  • Take exit 51 and turn left at the top of the ramp. (shopping mall will be on your right) 
  • Go 0.25 miles to traffic light, turn right on County Route 54.
  • Go 1.6 miles, turn left on Harris Hill Rd.
  • Go 1.7 miles, turning right at the top of the hill, next to the short golf course. (Still on Harris Hill Rd.)
  • Go 0.2 miles, turn right a the County Parks Building.
  • Go 1.1 miles, passing the valley outlook on your right. Driveway is on the right side at the end of the guard rail. The shop is located on the west side of the Harris Hill Gliderport.
From Corning on Rt. 17 East:
  • Take Exit 51 and follow ramp to the right.
  • Follow the other directions.
